It might be a one off thing, but I received not so fresh of a bottle. It was chewy (in a not so good way) and tasted a bit off.

What is striking is the packaging. The product was in sturdy glass bottle with a good lid, a class of its own. As for quality of the product it is fresh,soft, flavoured and larger than the products I purchased earlier on Amazon. I happened to buy fresh fig from Afgan stall in a trade fair in Kolkata couple of months back at a cost of ₹1900 a kilo ₹100 less than ₹2000 on bargain. You should be in position to discern the elements of one being better than the average. Thanks to the seller. Thanks Amazon.
