One has to press the handles repeatedly to cut some branches. I am unhappy with this mechanism.

I am taking care of 800 jackfruit plants and 300 date palms. I’ve used multiple pruners and currently have three pruners in the same price range (Sharpex, Falcon, and HASTHIP). Among all the pruners I’ve tried, this one stands out as the best.
It is very ergonomically designed, with a locking mechanism and mode switch that are easy to adjust with one hand.
The build quality is excellent. Even after two months of cutting 10-20mm thick branches, it still looks almost new (with proper maintenance).
The plastic part on the anvil, which protects the blade from hitting metal, is really good. The plastic is still intact, whereas it has worn away on my Falcon anvil pruner.
